American Friends of Chimes Israel

Shalom and welcome to the home of the American Friends of Chimes Israel. Chimes Israel (צ'יימס ישראל) is one of Israel's leading nonprofit organizations serving people with special needs.

Chimes Israel is one of Israel’s leading nonprofit organizations serving people with special needs. A dynamic and committed group of members of the Atlanta community is organizing the American Friends of Chimes Israel (AFOCI) to support Chimes Israel and help it fulfill its mission. We invite you to join them! Come and learn more about the humanitarian and educational work of Chimes Israel. At the meeting we will discuss the formation of the AFOCI, collaborations with the local community and other exciting ideas. Get involved at the beginning of the founding of this new organization and make a difference in the lives of people with special needs.

When: Tuesday, September 29 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will adjourn at 8:15 pm.

About Chimes Israel:

Chimes Israel's mission is to improve the quality of life of people with special needs in Israel and assist its clients in developing to their fullest potential, so that each may live the most independent and rewarding life possible. Chimes Israel operates 18 different programs for people from birth through senior citizens without regard to religion, gender, age or ethnicity. Chimes Israel has a strong focus on working with the adult population through sheltered workshops, supported employment, inter-social skills, leisure activities and other programs that are geared towards increasing independent behavior. Additionally, it operates several centers for infants with developmental delays as well as several after-school special education programs for school-aged children.
